Overview

Blockchain has revolutionized the world immensely in recent years. RChain is an example of a robust smart contract protocol that solves scalability issues(excess data computational load), preventing blockchain platforms from over-burdening and slowing down the transaction process. It revolutionized Rho calculus, rooted in a formal model of decentralization and collective computation.

About RChain

Launched in 2017 and based in Seattle, RChain is designed as an open-source, scalable, and decentralized network. It supports concurrent computation with economic censorship resistance that empowers users to own assets without the stamp of authority or government. In addition, it has introduced one of the robust smart contract platforms that are technically fast and high performing without compromising security and decentralized scalability.

RChain rooted its model on decentralized and concurrent computation, leveraging it through a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism producing a collective, trustworthy, and scalable blockchain network.

RChain uses a programming language called Rholang, and its native token is REV token.

RChain Consensus Mechanism 

Rchain uses a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism that helps the protocol select active validators from enabled nodes to compact their state. This determines their incentives to improve security and scalability across networks. The RChain network is robust, allowing nodes to run smoothly. This lowers their cost and unburdens network transactions.
